Here's What I'm Focused On At This Point In My Life and Career

Reinventing oneself is not only necessary, it is a requirement if you want to be relevant in today's fast moving society.

I update this page often because I am always doing new things.  You can see the latest update below:

  • Continuous Education -  I am terribly frightened of the status quo.  As a result, I am always trying to learn new things.  Here are the things I am doing to improve:
  • My goal is to read one book a week.  Of course I travel a lot for my job so it is not so difficult.  Basically, I got to the point where I didn't want to waste time while I was in airports and on the plane.
  • Here's What I've Read Recently:
  • The War of Art - Steven Pressfield
  • The Lazy Man's Way To Living The Good Life - Mike Vestil
  • Mass Pursuasion Method - Bushra Azhar
  • Building a Story Brand - Donald Miller
  • The Perfect Day Formula - Craig Ballantyne
  • Time Collapsing - Ed O'Keefe
  • Six Sigma In Service - Michael George
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - this something that I have wanted to do for a long time but just never got around to doing it.  I should have this complete by end of February 2018
  • Goal Setting and Achievement - As you can see, I just want to improve my performance and efficiency.  To help me expedite this process I am utilizing a program by Darren Hardy (Author of the Compounding Effect), called "Living Your Best Year Ever."
  • Client Project - I'm currently working in Chicago (Monday - Thursday.)  I am assisting with strategic and tactical planning for the customer support functions to be able to grow from 11 offices to 200.  This is a relatively large undertaking but will position my client to be ready to handle this growth.
  • Location - I am currently spending time in Chicago as I mentioned but when I am not onsite with the client, I cam either in Beaufort, NC or Dallas, TX.  Here are a few pictures of my view when home
